Maralyn founded Hound Dog Hotel in 2015, before which she cared for dogs in clients' homes. She’s published over 60 ‘dog blogs’ viewed by readers all over the world. 

Her relationship with dogs began 30 years ago with 2 rescue German Shorthaired Pointers. Since then she’s cared for hundreds of dogs, from tiny teacups to giant mastiffs, all the ‘Oodles’ and everything in between!

Gail co-runs Hound Dog Hotel. She’s worked with dogs of all personalities for a decade as a carer, trainer and pet sitter. 

She studied with the ‘Canine Human Relationship Institute’ learning to decode what dogs are really saying. Completing hundreds of hours of self-study and direct observation, Gail continues to be fascinated by the intricate language of dogs.
